ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER

After studying Photography two years at the Cambrian College of Applied Arts and Technology and graduating at the top of my class, I decided to further my photographic education at Ryerson Technical Institute. Upon finishing my studies, I decided to pursue my career in photography in the Ottawa area, as I thought that Ottawa was the city that suited me.

In 1987, I started as a photographic assistant in Ottawa for Paul Couvrette Studio, one of Canada's top wedding, portrait, and commercial photographers, where I perfected my skills. Spending 10 years with this company allowed me to master many aspects of the business and I became the company's top photographer.

In 1997, I decided to leave the company and try the photography business on my own, and I have not looked back since. As of 1997, I have specialized in weddings, portraits, and commercial photography, and I have travelled to many parts of Canada and the United States for a variety of assignments.

My primary focus is on service. I personally look after everything, from our initial consultation to the delivery the client's finished product. This allows you to choose a photographer with confidence, and eliminates the confusion of the "large studio" situation.

I specialize in weddings and portraits, allowing me to concentrate my skills and avoid the distractions that plague general photographers. I will only accept one wedding or portrait per day to ensure that I arrive fresh and able to concentrate exclusively on my client's needs. Effective planning is the cornerstone of successful wedding and portrait sessions, and I am available to assist in all aspects of a client's plans for your session. I look forward to assisting you in the organization of all your photography needs.
